Woman found killed, children missing

Greater Noida: A 35-year-old woman was found murdered inside her house in Omicron-II area of Greater Noida on early Friday morning. Police said that the two teenaged children of deceased woman were found missing from home after the incident.

According to police, the deceased woman has been identified as Manju Yadav. She was found murdered inside her house located in B-block of Omicron-II sector of Greater Noida. Victim's husband, Pramod Yadav, when reached home, found some blood stains on the floor outside the house and immediately informed police, said police officials.

"We received a call from victim's husband at around 10 am and immediately a police team was rushed to the spot. The main gate of the house was locked, and the blood stains outside the house suspected some foul play. Immediately we called some neighbours and broke the door. Upon opening the door, we found the woman lying in a pool of blood inside the house. It seems like the woman was hit with some blunt object and murdered," said Nishank Sharma, Circle Officer, Dadri. Police said that the woman lived alone with her children since past three months while her husband, who works as an electrician in Greater Noida Authority, lives in Eta sector of Greater Noida.

"On Friday morning victim's husband reached the house for some work and spotted the blood stains following which he informed police," added Sharma.

Police are suspecting that someone murdered the woman and kidnapped her children after committing the crime.
