Woman falls from bus in Anand Vihar, dies

New Delhi: A woman died after she fell from a bus in Anand Vihar area. Police said that she was deboarding at the time of the incident when the driver suddenly started the bus and woman fell. According to police on September 28 at about 9:30 am a PCR call was received regarding an accident while deboarding bus at ISBT Anand Vihar.

Police said that one Sushil(42) along with his wife Krishna(40) had come by roadways bus from Bulandshahr to ISBT Anand Vihar.

"While deboarding the bus, his wife fell and got injured in head as the driver of the bus suddenly started the bus," police said.

She was rushed to Hegdewar hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The bus driver along with bus escaped from the spot. Police was informed about the incident.

A case under sections 279, 304A of IPC has been registered. "We have launched the manhunt to nab the driver," police said.
