Water supply to be hit in and around Rajinder Nagar

NEW DELHI: Delhi Jal Board on Saturday issued an advisory about water supply available at low pressure on Sunday evening and Monday morning, due to bursting of the 750 mm dia rising main feeding to Rajinder Nagar Reservoir from Patel Nagar Road Booster Pumping Station.

Maintenance work is under progress for the main feeding pipe.

The Board said that areas including R-Block, New Rajinder Nagar, Double Storey in New Rajinder Nagar, NPL Complex including staff quarters and Pusa Institute Complex will get water supply at low pressure.

It further stated that residents of the aforementioned areas are advised to store adequate water for their use.
