Two wanted criminals nabbed after encounters in Gautam Buddh Nagar

Greater Noida: In two separate encounters in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, the police nabbed two rewarded criminals carrying reward of Rs 20, 000 each from sector 20 and Ecotech -III police station area, said police.

According to police, the first encounter took place in Ecotech-III area of Greater Noida on Thursday afternoon in which police successfully managed to arrest a wanted criminal who was accused in a number cases of loot and robbery. In the incident the criminal also suffered bullet injuries in his leg and has been admitted to the hospital.

"Acting on a tip-off the arrest was made, following a tip-off, from ecotech-III area. The arrested accused has been identified as Amit, a native of Dankaur area of Greater Noida and was wanted in a many crime incidents" said Rajpal Tomar, station house officer, Ecotech-III police station.

In another encounter, that took place on the same day, the police team from sector 20 police station nabbed a wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head.

"Based on the information received, police arrested accused Fariyad, who was wanted a in a murder case and in other several heinous crimes was arrested after an encounter with police from sector 20 area of Noida. He will be produced before court and will be sent to jail," said a senior police officer.
