New Delhi: Two persons were injured after the motorcycle in which they were traveling was hit by a crossover utility vehicle (XUV) in Hauz Khas area on Wednesday.
Delhi Police officials claimed that the injured persons have been hospitalised and are out of danger.
According to police, the victims were identified as Kalicharan and Narayan, who were hit by the speeding XUV
The incident was reported on Wednesday night and the two victims were taken to a hospital by the driver of the car himself, who left the vehicle behind.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya stated that both victims are under treatment and doctors claimed that their condition is not very serious.
When asked about the owner of the offending vehicle, a senior police official claimed that they have called in the owner for questioning. "He left his car at the spot and took the injured to hospital in an auto-rickshaw," police said.
