Two held for stealing ruscards
New Delhi: The Metro unit of Delhi Police has arrested the two persons, identified as Bijender (42) and Harender Singh (32), for stealing ruscards from mobile tower.
They were nabbed near DTC bus stop in Badarpur. On December 2, the complainant who works in Airtel company reported that five ruscard of company had been stolen from the mobile tower located at Kanhaiya Nagar Metro Station. The CCTV footages have been analyzed.
DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta stated that during the interrogation both accused has revealed that they were aware of the cost of ruscards as earlier they had worked as labourer who were engaged in installing mobile towers. They planned to sell the ruscards at the good price. "Both belongs to economically backward families and working as a temporary labourer in a private company. The investigation of the case is in progress, their previous involvement is also being verified," said DCP Gupta.
