TPDDL makes ELCBs mandatory for new electric connections

NEW DELHI: The Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited has been stopped to give new electric connections, which has not followed safety norms such as Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) and Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) in newly constructed buildings. It was said that the Discom has upheld more than 2,000 power metres installation due to lack of MCB in building premises.
