Tis Hazari: Court asks officials to abstain from sharing videos

New Delhi: The District and Sessions Judge at the Tis Hazari court on Wednesday issued a circular to all officials posted at District Courts across the capital to abide by certain rules in order to not aggravate the situation that has come up since the lawyers versus police clash at the Tis Hazari complex on

Saturday.

The circular, signed by District and Sessions Judge Girish Kathpalia directed all district court officials to not forw1ard video clips, photographs or text messages pertaining to the "recent unfortunate events" of clashes between lawyers and police

officials.

The circular also called for officials to abstain from making unnecessary comments and gossip about these issues to anyone.

But the circular added that verifiable information with regards to any incident should be shared with the concerned District

Judge.
