Timber vendor shot dead in Gzb

Two unidentified men gunned down a 40-year-old timber vendor inside his office in Hindon Industrial area of Ghaziabad at around 12:30 pm on Friday.

The two armed men entered the deceased Mohabbat's office, who was running a timber business in the area, and started firing several rounds at him.

The men fired many rounds of bullet on him out of which six bullets hit his chest and head. The assailants easily fled away from the spot after committing the crime.

"We are trying to find out if the victim was into any type of rivalry with anyone. The samples have been collected by the forensic department and they are investigating the case," said Shyam Narayan Singh, Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad.
