Thieves who stole ECMs from cars arrested

New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested three thieves, identified as, Shambhu Prasad Gupta, Yusuf Ali and Naeem, who used to steal ECMs (engine control module) from cars particularly during early hours in the area of Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad.

With their arrest, two ECMs, one car used in the commission of the offence, some cash and documents have been recovered at their instance.

It was reported that some unknown persons have stolen the ECMs of some cars from Sanjay Colony Bhati Mines, New Delhi, hence, a case was registered in Maidangarhi police station in this

regard.

Police team analysed the CCTV footage of all places where thefts were committed and with the help of CCTV footage, it was revealed that accused persons came in a commercial taxi car with Haryana number plate.
