Theft reported from MNC employee's home

New Delhi: The theft was reported at the house of a senior employee working with a multinational company (MNC) in Gurugram. Police said that the incident was reported in Samaypur Badli area and they have registered a case in this regard. Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer-north) Gaurav Sharma said that investigation is going on from all the angles. "We have got some clues and the case will be solved soon," said DCP Sharma.

According to the police, the incident took place on Thursday. The complainant in the case is the employe's wife who found the lock of her flat broken. After entering the flat, she found that things were lying everywhere. Police were alerted about the incident. A team visited the house and collected evidence. Allegedly several expensive items were stolen from the house.

An investigator claimed that on the complaint of woman they have registered the case. They suspect that the thieves fled with cash and valuables worth Rs 18 lakh. Although the investigation is also going on the exact amount that was missing. They are scanning CCTVs in the locality to get clues in the case. Police are also questioning frequent visitors to the building. "Few suspects were captured from the CCTV footage and we have leads in the case," police said.
