Technology adopted by Oriental Bank prevents ATM theft

Gurugram: At a time when Gurugram is being faced with an increased number of ATM thefts, superior technology adopted by Oriental Bank of Commerce prevented a major theft in one of its ATMs.

On Friday between 1:40 am & 2:45 am, a robbery attempt was made by some miscreants at an ATM at Garhi Bolni Road near Huda Chowk Rewari. The robbers broke open the ATM shutter and tried to open ATM.

Due to sophisticated surveillance technology adopted by the Bank, the incident was monitored and immediately reported to the police. The police authorities reacted instantly resulting in arrests of culprits at the site.

Thus due to technology by Bank, close cooperation and active participation of Police authorities, a grave crime was averted.
