Shopkeeper bravely fends off three robbers in North East Delhi

NEW DELHI: Not everybody is scared of guns and some muster the courage to challenge the robbers. In a similar case of bravery, a man challenged three robbers on Thursday in Khajuri Khas in North East Delhi. This courageous incident happened when a mobile shop owner confronted three armed robbers who were brandishing pistols. In the scuffle, one of the robbers misfired and the bullet injured one of their accomplices. Rest, the cops did their job with perfection.
On 16 November, a PCR Call was received at Khajuri Khas police station regarding firing and robbery. Police team reached the spot and found blood stains at the crime scene and shop articles were found to be robbed away. While the robbers tried to rob the victim, the victim fought them bravely and in that tussle one shot was misfired and hit one of the robbers. Police team started investigating the case and put various teams for the search of the accused.
"Menwhile, our team noticed one motorcycle abandoned nearby the robbed shop. We obtained the ownership of that motorcycle and reached the address of a person Manjit, who told us it was lost. The team found something suspicious and on local enquiry near Manjit's house it came to notice that his brother Pradeep is injured and taken to GTB Hospital for treatment. We soon got suspicious that he could be one of the assailants, said Additional DCP North East Devender Arya.
Soon, team was dispatched and they found a person Pradeep who was admitted to GTB Hospital owing to a bullet injury in his hand. Police quietly took a photograph of injured and the victim confirmed him to be one of the Robbers.
Later, it came to notice that three boys Pradeep, Manjit and Wasim came to complainant's shop and asked about VIVO mobiles from one of workers and other accused Wasim came forward and aimed country made Pistol on complainant, and hit on complainant's head with the Pistol and robbed almost Rs 30-35 thousand from victim/complainants pocket and took away 9 OPPO and 16 VIVO mobile phone from the Locker.
