Senior Purvanchali leader Narendra Singh joins AAP

New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh welcomed senior Purvanchali leader and former JD(U) general secretary Narendra Singh and his team members into the party, and said unlike other states where Purvanchalis are ill treated, in Delhi, under Arvind Kejriwal's governance they are treated with respect and recognised in AAP.

Talking about AAP's campaign "Apan Purvanchal" Sanjay Singh said, "Here we are interacting with people from Purvanchal present at various constituencies. Till now we have received a very positive response from the people. At one side when the AAP is reaching out to the people of Purvanchal then on the other side at the BJP led states like Gujarat, Maharashtra or Assam the BJP is torturing the people of Purvanchal and throwing them out the states."

He added that the Delhi government under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has formed 1,000 chhat ghats for the Purvanchalis, gave recognition to the Maithili language, and gave 13 MLAs who are from Purvanchal.

AAP General Secretary Rajendra Singh said, "Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is working for the development of this state relentlessly. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has done a remarkable job in the education system which has changed the education model of the government schools and now the whole world is talking about this model."
