SDMC held unique mega seminar to focus on holistic growth of students

New Delhi: SDMC on Sunday organised a first of its kind "Sahbhagita"— a mega seminar in which a large gathering of around 12000 teachers, parents and members of SMCs actively participated to focus on holistic and cognitive development of the students in Ambedkar Stadium.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar, on the occasion, said that this unique initiative through which SDMC is providing a platform to teachers, parents and educationist for interacting, discussing and analysing the new education systems and learning processes contributing towards the overall development of the students.

He exhorted SDMC to take a lead in developing better learning process to enable the students to become best brains in the country; this will go a long way in development of our country where its young think tanks will emerge as super intellectual power in the world. Javadekar appreciated the efforts of SDMC in

organising such an innovative proagramme on a grand scale for active participation and feedback of parents and teachers.

Commissioner Gynesh Bharti said that it is an opportunity to analyse the valuable suggestions received from parents and chalk out an action plan to make students better than the best as far as their keenness to learning is concerned. He said that the participation of parents in large number is an encouraging sign which signifies the intention of parents to contribute towards the education of children.
