School teacher booked for beating student

The Delhi Police on Tuesday booked a school teacher for brutally thrashing a class VI student in a private school at Hazrat Nizamuddin in south east Delhi.
A FIR was registered when the parents of the male child approched police asking them to take action against the school teacher.
It is reported that the school teacher mercilessly beat up the child when the students allegedly fought amongst themselves on some issue.
When the matter was reported to the teacher, he called the boy and started beating him black and blue with a stick.
It is said that when the 13-year-old boy reached home, his parents were infuruated seeing the red marks on his back and wasted no time in bringing the incident n the notice of the police.
"We have got the medical done and the doctors described the injuries as simple and blunt, abrassions on the back. A case under section 323 has been registered against the teacher who has been identified," said DCP South East Romil Baaniya.
