Police reshuffle: Outer, Railways to get new DCPs

New Delhi: The Outer District and Railways unit of the Delhi Police will soon get new Deputy Commissioners since their, DCPs have been promoted to the rank of Additional Commissioner of police, a circular released on Wednesday stated.
Parwaiz Ahmed, who was earliert the DCP (Railways), will now be Principal of Police Training School, Wazirabad.
MN Tiwari, who earlier served as DCP (Outer), will soon assume the charge of the Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters). RK Singh, who was previously the DCP (Anti-Corruption Branch), will now be the Additional CP of the anti-graft body.
Ishwar Singh, formerly DCP (Traffic), will now be the Additional CP (Traffic). Singh had also previosly headed the South district, where he busted several gangs and unearthed several betting rackets.
A mortuary of stolen vehicles in Meerut was also unearthed during his tenure.
Rishi Pal, who was DCP (Special Branch), has been promoted to Additional CP (Prime Minister Security). AK Singh, who earlier served as DCP (PM Security), will take over the same position as Pal.
Dheeraj Kumar, DCP (Supreme Court Security) will be the Additional CP (SC Security). Omvir Singh, previouly DCP (Vigilance), has been promoted to Additional CP in the same department.
Dr Ajit Kumar Singla, who was DCP (Crime), has now been promoted to Additional CP (Crime).
