Now get CCs/OCs of residential, industrial projects online

Noida: The Noida Authority will now issue completion and occupancy certificates of residential as well as industrial projects online. Officials said that the web page for new facility was inaugurated by Authority's Chief Executive Officer, Ritu Maheshwari, on Wednesday.

According to information, the new software shall automate from online documents submission, online fee calculator and its payment and approval to completion and occupation certificates. "The authority will issue completion certificates for all residential projects but only for industrial plots of size 1, 000 square meters of less," a senior Noida Authority officer said.

"Earlier the process of issuing completion and occupancy certificate was done manually but now we have planned to launch a facility for online issuing CC/OC. The new facility will improve work efficiency and will bring transparency," said Maheshwari.

To apply for online completion certificate, users can visit the Authority's website and select the online approval for completion certificate option. Once the authority receives the request, a date and time for the survey visit would be conveyed to the applicant. After a physical survey, a report will be prepared and uploaded, which can also be viewed on the website. The authority has set a time of seven days for the whole process. "The authority will take both manual as well as online application for completion certificates for October but from November 1, the whole process will be made online," the officer added.
