Non-COVID patients: Hospitals in Delhi-NCR set up helpline numbers for telephonic consultation

New Delhi/Noida: Amid the COVID crisis which has inflicted gloom and disaster across all sectors, staying at the forefront in the battle against the Corona pandemic and providing medical assistance to people who are unable to visit doctors due to the nationwide lockdown, hospitals across Delhi-NCR have issued helpline numbers for telephonic consultation for the non-COVID patients.

In this regard, the All India Institute of Medical Science is taking advance appointment for teleconsultations. "Those seeking medical help can book an appointment in advance by calling the number 9115444155 between 8:30 am to 2:30 pm on all working days. The appointment will be scheduled after verification of the Unique Health Identification number. On the day of the appointment, the patient will get a call on his registered mobile number from the concerned department during the OPD/Clinic time," a spokesperson from AIIMS informed.

Similar medical helpline numbers have been issued in Noida and Ghaziabad as well. The Noida authority has roped in 20 doctors including physicians, paediatricians and gynaecologist and people unable to go to OPDs can seek medical advice from doctors between 10 am to 6 pm through helpline number 0120-2422317. Officials said that the helpline number can cater multiple calls at the same time.

In Ghaziabad, those seeking medical help can call on the helpline number 9999081239, between 8 am to 2 pm.
