Noida Authority continues cleanliness, sanitation drive

Noida: With an aim to achieve an improved ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2020, Noida Authority on early Sunday morning continued its intensified cleanliness and sanitation drive 'Safaigiri' at various sectors and RWAs of Noida.

"Sunday's drive was carried out in sector 15A, 27, Atta village, sector 50 and hosiery complex of Noida. Officials from water, horticulture, electricity and public health joined hands with residents of these areas to scan every nook and corner of their area and pick up garbage.

The officials also took stock of sanitation and other civic issues. Under the drive, we also made people aware of how to segregate waste at their end and an oath is also delivered to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings," said a senior Noida Authority officer.

Noida Authority's Officer on Special Duty Avanish Kumar Tripathi, senior project engineer S C Mishra, senior manager Salil Yadav and other officials of the authority took part in the Safaigiri drive.
