Man stabbed to death, three held

New Delhi: A man was stabbed to death in Northwest Delhi's Sawan Park area on Saturday. Police claimed that they have arrested three persons in the case and also launched a manhunt to nab absconding accused.

According to police, a PCR call regarding quarrel was received around 11 pm on Saturday in Bharat Nagar police station.

The investigation in the case revealed that two friends identified as Dharma and Kailash had gone to Dharma's relative's house in Kabir Nagar area.

"A family function was happening at that place when Kailash picked up the fight with two of Dharma's relatives Deepak and Niku. He was then sent back to his home forcefully by the Dharma's family. He felt insulted and decided to take revenge for the incident," said DCP (North West) Aslam Khan.

Later, he along with his brother, father and cousins attacked Dharma, Deepak and Niku in which Deepak was stabbed to death.

Police claimed that they arrested Kailash, Lokesh (brothers) and their father Jagdev in the case. One of the accused is absconding.
