Man shot dead in Indirapuram by seven bike-borne assailants

A man travelling in his SUV car was shot dead by seven unidentified assailants while he was returning to Delhi from Ghaziabad court after attending a case, police said on Wednesday.

The incident took place near Hindon Barrage in Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. The criminals were riding on three motorcycles when they forced the driver to halt and opened indiscriminate fire.

The deceased has been identified as Mintu who was travelling with his driver, Nagendra Singh in a black Mahindra SUV car.

"A police team rushed to the spot and drove the SUV to hospital carrying the victims where doctors declared Mintu dead. The body has been sent for the post mortem and investigation is on," said Akash Tomar, Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad.
