Man held for duping people on pretext of selling property

New Delhi: A 41-year-old man was arrested for cheating several people on the pretext of selling property to them. The accused was nabbed from Gurugram.

Police identified the accused as Anuj Aneja, resident of East Patel Nagar. According to police complainant reported that Aneja in collusion with other persons lured him to execute an agreement to sell for Second Floor of property in Patel Nagar, Delhi.

The complainant getting induced by this fraudulent offer, executed the Agreement to Sell on September 21, 2016, with Aneja and made a payment of Rs 1 crore in his favour.

Later, an amount of Rs 20 lakh was also paid by the complainant. After some time, the complainant came to know that Anuj Aneja had executed a sale deed in favour of one Chhavi Pamnani and absconded from his house. He was arrested from Gurugram.
