Man attacks wife with razor inside Delhi Court

NEW DELHI: A man allegedly assaulted his wife and his 11-year-old son inside a courtroom of the Tis Hazari court on Thursday. The accused has been arrested by the police. Narender Saini (42) and his wife were present in the courtroom along with their son for the divorce proceedings. The man assaulted his wife and the son in the courtroom after a heated argument. The immediate provocation is not known.

"The man came to meet his son in one of the meeting sessions in the court. It was then he assaulted his wife and his son was also injured in the incident. He probably carried a sharp-edged weapon like a razor," said a senior police officer.

The injured woman and her son were immediately taken to hospital for treatment. They were later discharged.
