Pankaj's father Narendra Singh told Millennium Post that Pankaj went missing on October 9.

"My son had been living in Ghaziabad from past four years and had shifted to the house around 15 days ago. On October 9, I called him several times in the morning and evening too but we failed to contact him. Next day we gave a missing complaint at Sahibabad police station," said Singh.

He further said that Pankaj also ran a cyber cafe in the area and provided home tuitions to school student.

"The last in spoke to him was on the evening of Dussehra (October 8) when he told me that he had a heated argument with his landlord Munna Yadav as he wanted Pankaj to sell his cafe. We suspect that Yadav has killed my son and then buried his body to hide the crime" Singh added.

Dr. Manish Kumar Mishra, Superintendent of Police (city), Ghaziabad said that police dig up the floor and recovered the body which was buried six feet under.

"Police had been searching suspected places in look of the youth. A CCTV footage of the area was also searched in which the deceased was seen. Upon searching the house where he lived, police found a newly cemented surface at the basement of the house. We suspected something to be fishy and upon hitting an iron rod on the floor, mud came out. When we further dig the floor, the body of the deceased was recovered from around six feet under," said Mishra.

The officer further said that they have lodged a case of murder against the landlord and his family who are absconding at the

moment.

"We suspect that the youth has been killed by the landlord and his family and the way crime has been committed, a strong personal reason reflects behind. We are looking for the accused while a case under section 302 (punishment for murder) has been registered against him and his family," added

Mishra.
