Husband stabs wife to death over alleged affair

Enraged over the refusal of his wife to go to his house and suspecting of her having an affair, a husband murdered his wife brutally with a knife and later hit her with a cylinder to make sure she had died in south east Delhi's Badarpur area on Saturday afternoon.
The man, identified as Parveen, was soon arrested by the district police.
Police said that the man was annoyed with his wife as she overstayed at her parents' place.
He suspected her to have an affair as an apparent reason for leaving his house. She was staying there for more than four months. When her wife didn't return, he too moved in at his in-laws place.
Both got into frequent arguments as Minakshi refused to accompany him to his house in Molarband Village.
On Saturday, when none was at home except Parveen's wife and children, he asked her if she is ready to go with him.
As Minakshi said again refused to come home with him and said no, Parveen made up his mind and sent the kids upstairs.
He soon took out a knife and attacked Minakshi, he slit her throat and when she laid on the ground bleeding, he took up the LPG cylinder and hit her to make sure she is dead.
"The lady had injury marks on her neck. We have apprehended the accused husband. Parveen is a private driver and he suspected his wife to have illicit relationship and murdered her," said DCP South East Delhi Romil Baaniya.
