Husband held for Kotla woman's murder

Police on Tuesday has arrested the husband for brutally murdering his wife by stabbing her multiple times at Kotla Mubarakpur, suspecting extra marital affair.
The man was arrested within eight hours of the murder on Monday evening. The man has been identified as Vinod, resident of Kotla.
The police got clues soon that her husband would be involved in the brutal act and formed teams to arrest him.
The cops on investigation aslo got to know that deceased Santoshi, 40, was earlier married to Ram Babu. Seven years ago, Ram Babu died of illness and then Santoshi married Vinod.
"When the police team reached the house of Vinod, he was found absconding. The police team focussed on to trace absconding Vinod and raids were conducted at his possible hideouts. On receipt of specific input, the police team arrested accused Vinod from Mundka, outer Delhi," Additional DCP South Chinmoy Biswal said. During interrogation, accused Vinod disclosed that last year he married Santoshi in Sangam Vihar.
On July 31, he saw his wife Santoshi in a compromising position with an unknown person. In order to teach her a lesson, Vinod took her to INA Market, purchased a knife from a cutlery shop and consumed liquor together. Thereafter, he took her to Gate No. 1 of Thyagraj Stadium and stabbed her multiple times.
