Haryana DGP announces special task force for Ggn

Haryana state Director General of Police BS Sandhu who was on a visit to Gurugram on Tuesday announced that a special task force will be formulated to curb the sale of drugs and illegal liquor.
Recently, there have been various incidents in huge overhaul of drugs and illegal liquor being captured by Gurugram police. For long there have been complaints by residents that there has been no action by the police over open sale of drugs in various parts of city. On July 6, a 26-year-old youth died of drug overdose near Tigra village.
The top police official of the state also announced that there will be a second women police station that will be set up in the old part of the city.
He also stated that in times when there are rising incidents of cyber crimes that are being reported, a cyber crime police station will also be set up in Gurugram district.
Speaking on the women safety in the state, the top police official stated that though various measures were being taken by the state police to ensure that women feel safe, there is also a requirement of change of mindset in the society.
