"Two courses in collaboration with Bombay stock exchange are already up and running and now the management is planning to establish a Centre for Excellence in the college which will provide a direct linkage to the Bombay Stock Exchange for further development and studies," said Dr JB Singh, principal of the college.

He also asserted that setting up of the data laboratory will help students tremendously in the research work.

Meanwhile, an official of the college said, "To improve quality of education, five memorandums of understanding with foreign universities have been planned and talks with Humboldt Business School and Cambodia College are already in the works."

The official added that three foreign language courses, viz (Japanese, Korean and Chinese) will be started from this academic session, to provide an additional competitive edge to the students planning to work in foreign lands.

"A new six storied, fully air-conditioned hostel for female students has also been constructed, complete with 24 hour CCTV surveillance which will accommodate approximately 129 students." Dr Singh further said, highlighting that previously, female hostel accommodation was a problem for the college authorities.
