Get ready to have license revoked for speeding on Yamuna E-way

Over speeding on the 165-km long Yamuna Expressway can lead to the suspension of your driving license as well, the transport department of Gautam Budh Nagar said.

The department has issued details of over 20,000 drivers who were found exceeding the prescribed speed limit on the Yamuna Expressway thrice or more between April 1 and July 4.

"To deal with vehicles from outside UP, we will take the help of the ARTO department and the police of the state concerned to track the owner of the offending vehicle and fine them," said BN Singh, district magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar.

As per the data, the E-way records over 5,000 offences of over speeding per day.
