Entry and exit at four Delhi Metro stations to remain shut

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro will run as usual on Independence Day across the entire network, as per a DMRC circular. All the Metro stations will remain open, so if you have your office or plan to visit your brother, as 15th August, also happens to be Raksha Bandhan this year, you will face no difficulty in commuting. Although there will be more security than usual days on 15th August in Delhi-NCR.

However, the entry and exit at four stations will remain closed owing to security reasons during Independence Day programme. The entry and exit at Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate and ITO stations of Violet Line will be permitted from select entry/exit Gates during the ceremony time.
