Delhi govt opens two new mohalla clinics in posh GK-I

New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj congratulated the Delhi government for delivering mohalla clinics to the upper middle class people of South Delhi. The demand was made last year in August 2018, which was fulfilled on Sunday.

The Senior AAP leader said, "Overall 11 Moholla Clinics have been built in GK Assembly, out of which two of them are in GK1. Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of Blocks – B, C, E, S, M, N, R, W – attended the inauguration along with RWA of Pamposh, Hemkunt, and Chirag Enclave. People of upper middle class welcomed Moholla Clinics in their neighborhood not just for their working staff but for their own family members too."

In a tweet Bharadwaj added, "Last year, demand for Mohalla Clinic came from a very unlikely colony, posh GK1. Today we delivered the promise made by CM to Greater Kailash -1. Two Mohalla Clinics functional at B block and Hemkunt in GK1. Such a warm welcome from upper middle class of South Delhi."

The senior AAP leader was responding to an old tweet by the Delhi Chief Minister where the CM had said that posh residents of GK had demanded a mohalla clinic. Upon fulfilment, Bharadwaj announced that two new mohalla clinics had opened on Sunday.
