Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari accuses AAP of hypocrisy
New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari accused AAP leaders of hypocrisy on Monday at an event in the party's state headquarters, pointing towards their inability to listen to citizens in the capital city, while claiming to work for their betterment.
He argued that the Delhi government's blocking of schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and 10 per cent reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (General Category) shows that AAP is clearly not listening to the voice of the people.
Citing "Bharat ke Mann ki Baat, Modi Ji ke Saath" as the largest platform for citizens to register their grievances in a democracy, Tiwari said that voters in his constituency were immensely enthusiastic about sending in their suggestions to Narendra Modi.
Former mayor Arti Mehra, who was also at the event added that suggestions recieved through the "Bharat Ke Mann ki Baat" programme will also be considered for inclusion in their poll manifesto for 2019.
