Wanted sharpshooter of Randeep Bhati gang held

Accused in more than a dozen cases of murder, robbery and extortion, the Gautam Buddh Nagar police along with its Anti-extortion team, on Saturday night arrested a wanted criminal from Greater Noida who was carrying a reward of Rs 15,000 on him.
A country made .32mm pistol, five cases of live ammunition and a Honda Hunk motorcycle were also recovered from the possession of the criminal.
The criminal, identified as Aman Tyagai, is a sharp shooter of Randeep Bhati gang and was declared a rewarded criminal in an attempt to murder case registered in Bisrakh police station.
The police had been trying to track him down since and finally captured him after receiving a tip-off.
"Tyagi is wanted in a number of cases in Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar and Muzzafarnagar districts," said Suniti Singh, Superintendent of Police (rural).
"He was first charged in 2012 under the murder case in Muzzaffarnagar after which around five more cases followed against him.
"Four cases in Gautam Buddh Nagar district while one case has been registered against the accused in Ghaziabad district," added Singh.
