64-year-old grandfather held for molesting 5-year-old

The Gurugram Police have arrested a 64-year-old person accused of sexually molesting his 5-year-old granddaughter.
Also, the accused's wife has been held on the charges of aiding and abetting the crime.
The couple was arrested from Mumbai on July and brought to Gurugram on July 6. A case under the section of 506 (criminal intimidation) IPC and sections 6 and 10 of the POSCO Act have been registered against the molester.
The case was first registered at the women police station on June 28. "It is too early for us to provide more details into the case," said a senior police official. The case again brings to light of the rising crimes against the minors. Last month two cases of minor rape of 7-year-old and 5-year-old were reported. "Even though we are able to solve most of these cases, it is also imperative for the society to change their mindset," said ACP Manish Sehegal.
