DU releases first cut-off list for NCWEB

Delhi University on Friday released the first cut-off list of the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB).
The non-collegiate programme of teaching is low cost and utilises the existing infrastructure of educational institutions during Saturdays, Sundays and academic breaks.
The board, which offers BA Programme and BCom course, MSc (Mathematics) and MA in 13 subjects for female students from Delhi-NCR region, released the cut-off for BA (Programme) and B Com.
Hansraj College and Miranda House had the highest cut-offs for both courses, with both colleges offering BA programme at 88 per cent and BCom at 90 per cent for the general category.
In the reserved category at both colleges, the cut-off for BA for OBC students stood at 85 per cent, followed by 84 per cent for SC and 70 per cent for ST students. For BCom, the cut-offs were 88 per cent (for OBC), 86 per cent (for SC) and 70 per cent (for ST).
Aditi Mahavidyala and Bhagini Nivedita College had the lowest cut-offs for BA Programme at 76 per cent. A majority of colleges, such as Jesus and Mary, Kalindi, Maitreyi and Motilal Nehru College, set the cut-off of BA Programme at 78 per cent.
For BCom, most colleges set their cut-offs between 84-90 per cent. Aditi Mahavidyala and Bhagini Nivedita College again registered the lowest cut-off with 84 per cent.
Both the colleges also had the lowest cut-offs for BCom for reserved category students, with 78 (for OBC), 72 (for SC) and 58 (for ST) per cent. The two colleges also had the lowest cut-offs for BA for students in the reserved category, with 70 per cent each for OBC and SC students, and 58 per cent for ST students.
