Six robbers stealing electronic gadgets held by Gurugram Police

In two separate incidents, the Gurugram Police Crime Branch on Friday arrested six robbers who were involved in robbery of electronic gadgets from high scale localities.
In the first case, the Crime Branch arrested two robbers who were involved in 35 cases of robbery that mainly involved laptops and smart phones. The robbers have been identified as Gul Hassan (28) and Suhel (27 ), both natives of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh.

Gul and Hassan have been charged under relevant sections of IPC and have been taken in judicial remand for four days. Police has claimed that both the arrested criminals Gul and Suhel have admitted that there are more people who are involved with them in committing the thefts.

Gul Hassan and Suhel used to live in Khajuri in North-East Delhi and used to visit Gurugram to commit the thefts.

In the second case, the Gurugram Police also provided information about four robbers who also used to steal electronic gadgets. On June 13, the police has recovered 105 smart phones,12 mobile accessories, two computer screens, two Central Processing Units, two keyboard systems, one LCD television and one Home Theatre System.

The four robbers have been identified as Deepak (21), Sandeep (23), Vikas (22) and Ranjeet (21). The four used to stay in Kapashera area in South-West Delhi.

"With the country experiencing technological revolution, the criminals also do not want to be left behind and cash on it. We are now receiving a lot of cases where criminals are stealing technological and electronic gadgets," said a Senior Official from Gurugram Police.
