The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday said it will overhaul its organisational structure by appointing a 'mandal adhyaksh' for each polling station in Delhi.
Delhi Labour Minister Gopal Rai made the announcement after a three-week feedback exercise undertaken by him with various stakeholders of AAP in Delhi.
The exercise involved newly-elected councillors, candidates who contested the Municipal elections, legislators and the party's office-bearers. Rai said the 'Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot' (My Booth, the Strongest) campaign will be launched on Sunday, ahead of which all 'mandal adhyaksh' posts will be filled up.
"The party has also decided that every person associated with the party will have to take charge of organisational building in their own polling booths," Rai said.
