Delay in graduation results puts DU's postgraduate applicants in fix

The admission portal of Delhi University continues to create tension among postgraduate applicants, as the graduation results of many of these aspirants are still awaited.
Keeping in mind the delay in results of DU's BA Economics (Hons), BA Environmental Science (Hons) and LLB students, the date for enrolment has been extended by two more days till July 14.
"For MA Economics I have given an entrance exam. I have also done BA (Hons) Economics from DU, which means I am eligible for post graduation admission in DU on merit basis too. If the results are not declared soon, I will not be left with any option and could end up wasting this year," said Saurabh, an aspirant for post graduation in DU.
Another applicant, Navneet, who completed his bachelor's degree in Economics, seems quite stressed about his post graduation application, as results of his final exam are yet to be announced.
Gurpreet Tuteja, Deputy Dean of Student's Welfare, told Millennium Post: "Results for Honours courses are expected to be announced by Wednesday night, following which date for the admission registration has also been extended. The aspiring candidates can apply by Thursday."
Mohit, a Law student, is worried for his graduation results too. "I am hopeful and expecting that the varsity will rectify the issue. The University will definitely come to a right solution in favour of the students," he said.
