DDA clears more than 2,000 km encroached land

NEW DELHI: Delhi development authority on Thursday cleared nearly 2,000 km of encroached roads. These roads where under various civic agencies such as NDMC, SDMC, EDMC, DDA, Delhi traffic police and others.
According to the recent report, DDA has cleared nearly 8.10 lakh permanent structures and nearly 8.36 lakh temporary structures under various civic agencies till August.
The report also showed that till August end they have lifted nearly 25,000 items and 12,000 of Vehicles from various public spaces. The DDA report also showed that nearly 19,749 challans were made till
August 31.
