Daughter denied ticket: Ggm's BJP MP ticked off with party top brass

Gururgam: With the possibility of Rao Inderjit Singh's daughter not getting ticket from any of the Gurugram assembly seats, the differences of Rao Inderjit has come in open.

On Monday, the present Gururgam MLA Umesh Aggarwal also created a storm that if the party ignores the Ahirwal leader its fortunes will suffer adversely in south Haryana. Within minutes, however, he deleted the tweet. According to sources, Rao Inderjit is now not on talking terms with most of the party members and he even switched off his phone on Sunday night to express his displeasure with the party.

The BJP has made its stand clear that it will not promote dynastic politics and will not give tickets to the kin of those members who have already been given senior posts by the party.

Sources indicate that Rao Inderjit also expressed his keenness to resign from the cabinet but even this has not been accepted by the party. It is important to note that Rao Inderjit Singh on various occasions has expressed his differences with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattr. The two leaders however reached truce during the Lok Sabha elections and it was felt that all was well with the two leaders. The importance of Rao Inderjit can be gauged from the fact that his recent win in the Lok Sabha polls was his fifth win as an MP. Moreover, he has won as an MLA from Rewari area. Rao Inderjit Singh is a son of Rao Birender Singh who was the former CM of Haryana and also an MP from Gurgaon at a time when it used to come under the LS seat of Mahendargarh.
