CISF restores Rs 4.25 L cash, valuables worth Rs 1.25 lakh

New Delhi: In three different cases at Delhi Metro: CISF personnel restores the bags containing cash `4.25 lakh & valuables worth approximately `1.25 lakh.

In first at around 1:30 pm, the CISF official noticed unattended bag lying on the output roller of X-BIS machine at Rohini West metro station, subsequently, the bag

was checked from security point of view.

After ascertaining that there was no dangerous item inside the bag. "On opening the bag, cash amounting to `3,40,000/- and some documents were found. After some time, a passenger namely Vinay Kumar,

aged about-30 yrs, R/O- Rohini, Delhi came at the

security check point

and claimed the bag,"

official said.

However, in another incident, around 5:55 pm at Pitampura metro station CISF official restored the bag containing a diamond ring ( amounting `1.25 lakh) and cash `2,000, two ATM cards.

In third location at Arjangarh Metro Station, at around 5:22 pm a lady passenger namely Usha Devi, resident of Gurgaon left the bag at output roller of X-BIS machine and later come on January 01 asking for the missing bag, said the official. " The

official after the proper verification returned the bag carring the valuables including cash amounting Rs 83,479.
