Chinese delegation calls for enhanced cooperation with Delhi in publicity work

NEW DELHI: A six-member Chinese delegation on Thursday called on the Delhi government's Public Relations Secretary Jayadev Sarangi to share "best practices" and enhance cooperation between Beijing and Delhi in the field of publicity work, said an official statement.

According to the statement issued by the Delhi Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP), a delegation led by Publicity Minister of Beijing government Du Feijin interacted with DIP officials and Sarangi in his office to share best practices and to enhance cooperation between Beijing and Delhi in the field of Publicity work.

Before meeting Sarangi, the delegation met with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Secretariat.

The Chinese delegation consisted of five other members, namely Yang Shuo (Director-General of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television), Zhang Qian (Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal Government), Hu Jinlong (Division Chief of Publicity Department of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee), Ji Gongcheng (Division Chief of Publicity Department of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee), and Wang Haishan (Staff Member of the Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal Government).
