Auto driver attacked brutally in road rage case

New Delhi: Krishan Kumar, an autorickshaw driver was brutally assaulted in a case of road rage by a group of men in New Delhi's Mandir Marg area near the Hanuman Mandir on Wednesday night at around 8:30 pm. Krishan Kumar was ferrying passengers from Badarpur and when his auto reached Mandir Marg it got brushed with a car. The auto driver claims that he was brutally assaulted by a group of men in the car.

"They came down and started assaulting me. They punched me in my face several times. I started bleeding profusely. They didn't even give me the time to explain and kept rendering blows on my face," said Krishan Kumar.

Later, the man called up the police and told his predicament. The PCR reached the spot and brought the auto driver to RML hospital. Krishan Kumar received injury on his head and left eye and was profusely bleeding. The police are investigating into the case and some men have been detained.
