ASI levels graft allegations against senior officials

Raj Singh, who is at the rank of an ASI in Gurugram Police has levelled graft allegations against his senior officials and highlighted that he was continuously being asked for bribe by senior most officials that are of the rank of DCP level on various levels.
Singh, who himself is facing various charges of graft alleged that he has been falsely implicated by his seniors as he threatened to expose them.
Singh had recently been booked by the Gurugram Police after there were reports that the inspector has taken help of dreaded gangster Manjeet Mahal to make a threatening call to a person identified as Rajesh in a property dispute.
According to sources, there have been incidents in the past where Inspector Singh has been found guilty in incidents of petty corruption deals and been suspended.
This is not for the first time that the department have been accused of being corrupt. Recently, a sub inspector in Sohna was held for accepting Rs10,000 from the complainant.
