Anti-dengue campaign: Delhi CM inspects his house
New Delhi: On the fifth Sunday of the campaign against dengue, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inspected his house for stagnant water inside and outside his house to keep up with the 10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute campaign. He along with his family got rid of stagnant water around the house and inspected every nook and corner for any dengue larvae.
In a tweet he said "The success of 10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 minute campaign is proof that when lakhs of people get together to achieve something then there is nothing impossible for them to achieve it."
As part of the campaign, the chief minister inspected his home for clean water stored in his house at 10 am and then called 10 friends encouraging them to check their homes too.
Previously, the CM had shared a video on Twitter, appealing to the people that, "We will all have to become champions in the fight against dengue to defeat it."
Kejriwal had said that the doctors had warned him that dengue mosquitoes might might see a sudden surge this year. That is why this year, this massive public participation campaign has been started.
