All was not well in our marriage, admits deceased actress' husband

The city court on Thursday extended the police remand of deceased Assamese actress's husband Nishith Jha to 14 days and had admitted that all was not well between the couple..
Assamese artist Bidisha Bezbaruah hanged herself from a ceiling fan in a Gurugram apartment on July 17, following which her husband was arrested on the charges of section 306 (abetment to suicide) of IPC after the deceased's father formally complained where he alleged that Jha was responsible for his daughter's death.
According to police in its interrogation, Nishith admitted to the allegation that he had a female friend in Mumbai, the relation of which his wife was not happy. He, however, denied having an extra- marital affair with his woman colleague.
The police have seized the laptop and the smartphone so that they can read all his emails, Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter posts that can provide them with more evidences relating to the case.
Marital discord is attributed as the main reason for the suicide of Bidisha Bezbaruah who was an actress, singers, dancer and a radio jockey. She had also done a cameo role in Bollywood film Jagga Jasoos.
The couple, who were married on April 28 last year, shifted to Gurugram in July this year.
However, three days after they shifted to Sushant Apartment in Sector-43, Nishith rushed to Mumbai citing professional requirements. On July 17, Nishith tried calling Bidisha several times to which she did not respond after which he got in touch with the property broker who had helped them get the appartment.
The property broker and other people in the neighbourhood later found out Bidisha hanging from a ceiling fan.
On Wednesday, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar assured his Assam counterpart Sarbananda Sonowal that all angles of the case will be looked into during the probe.
