After Rajasthan, Zika virus could make way into Ggn

Gurugram: With a good monsoon this year in Gurugram, a large number of cases of vector-borne diseases have been reported in the city, including 40 of dengue and 25 cases of Malaria. The concern of dealing with Zika virus, however, remains.

According to Union Health Ministry, about 106 cases of Zika virus have been reported in nearby Rajasthan till now.

Out of the total number of people infected with the virus, 25 are pregnant women. Though no confirmed cases of Zika virus have been reported till now, authorities fear are the virus may enter Gurugram.
