AAP hits back at BJP, says it has done nothing for the Purvanchalis

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) senior leader Sanjay Singh, addressed the allegations made about Kejriwal that he hates people from Bihar, Purvanchal, and other people who come to Delhi from other states. He lashed out at the opposition saying they have done nothing for the Purvanchalis except to get them beaten up and thrown out of certain cities and now suddenly, they are concerned about them. He went on to say that they (opposition) lacks clarity when it comes to who their face will be in the upcoming by-polls.

Singh said, "A party like BJP that indulges in murders and propagates violence in states like Bihar and UP, and is suddenly concerned about the people of these states. They get Biharis beaten and thrown out of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Surat–such a party is concerned today. When they were getting targeted and attacked not one BJP leader spoke up for them. By implementing NRC in Assam the opposition party made many homeless."

According to a report, Manoj Tiwari had said that Arvind Kejriwal's hate for people from Bihar, Purvanchal, and people from other states who come to Delhi, is coming out. The Delhi BJP unit chief went on to say that such statements reveal that Kejriwal is frustrated and has lost ground.

Defending Kejriwal, Singh said, "You are questioning a party whose prominent and senior leaders belong to the Purvanchal belt. Kejriwal had said that the healthcare in Delhi is so good that people from other states come here for treatment that too for free. The conniving opposition is twisting these statements. According to the Ayushman Yojna the free treatment that people were to get where has it been delivered?"

Tiwari in a statement said that Kejriwal is complaining despite not allowing the Modi government scheme which provides up to Rs 5 lakh medical insurance for patients. The Rs 5 lakh medical insurance is being provided by the Modi government. But the Delhi government has not allowed this scheme in the state, a report quoted him.
