4 cattle thieves nabbed from Prem Nagar

New Delhi: The PCR unit of Delhi Police, after a chase, arrested four cattle thieves in Prem Nagar area. According to police in the intervening night of December 2-3, the PCR mobile patrol van staff received a PCR call regarding cattle thieves in the area of village Rani Khera in Prem Nagar.

The caller also informed that thieves were 7-8 in numbers and earlier had stolen some buffaloes. Deputy Commissioner of Police (PCR) Sharat Sinha said that MPV staff chased the fleeing tempo and apprehended three accused persons.

Police said that their associates managed to escape taking advantage of darkness. During the search operation, one more accused was apprehended who was hiding in the bushes. "The accused persons resisted their apprehension and in the process, the accused persons got some minor injuries," said DCP Sinha. Meanwhile, in another case, one bootlegger was apprehended by PCR from Bawana.
